Keep up to date with every UEFA Champions League goal, even when you’re playing a game or using another app on your PS4™.

Go into the Settings menu and choose Goal Notifications.

You can then decide if you want to hear about every goal in the UEFA Champions League, or just the goals scored (hooray) and conceded (boo) by your favourite team.

  • To receive goal notifications while playing other games or apps on your PS4™, make sure you launch the PlayStation® FC UEFA Champions League App first.


Is your favourite player in the starting line-up?

Can the plucky underdogs pull off a shock win on their European debut?

Follow every kick from the first whistle to the last − including the nerve-shredding moments of extra time and the glorious drama of penalty shoot-outs.

From the main menu, choose the Matches option, and then select Fixtures and Results. You can then choose the match you want to follow. If the match has started you’ll see the Live Match Feed.

You can also keep a close eye on the all-important match stats, and check out a detailed match report after the referee brings the spectacle to an end.


Check out the Videos section on the main menu to discover new video content, along with match highlights from the UEFA Champions League archives.

Follow the fortunes of every club and player in the UEFA Champions League.

Delve into detailed performance and career stats about your favourite players and check out the club’s results and upcoming fixtures.

Choose the Matches option from the main menu, and then choose the Clubs option to start exploring.

Tune in to your favourite radio station to listen to live match commentary.

You can find the Radio menu under the Videos section on the main menu.

You can even carry on listening to the live commentary while playing other games and apps on your PS4™.

If you want to adjust the volume, just hold the PS button to bring up the Quick Menu.

Tailor your experience of the PlayStation® F.C. UEFA Champions League App by choosing Settings from the main menu.

Goal Notifications: Turn notifications on or off, and decide if you want to hear about every goal scored, or just how your favourite team is faring. See the GOAL ALERTS tab for more information.

My Club: Choose a club to follow throughout their UEFA Champions League campaign.

Radio Control: Turn auto play on or off.


  • The UEFA Champions League kicked off in 1992 – replacing the European Champion Clubs’ Cup, known as the European Cup.
  • Real Madrid hold the most titles, with 11 in total – six European Cups and five UEFA Champions League triumphs.
  • Spain has produced the most participants in the UEFA Champions League with 75, just four ahead of England. Italy is third with 65.
  • German team FC Bayern München and English side Manchester United FC have enjoyed the most successive home wins, with fans enjoying 12 straight triumphs.
  • The fastest hat-trick in UEFA Champions League history was scored by Bafetimbi Gomis who netted three times in just eight minutes for Olympique Lyonnais in 2011.
  • The first-ever UEFA Champions League goal was netted by Daniel Amokachi for Club Brugge KV.
  • The 100th UEFA Champions League goal was scored by Brazilian forward Romario for FC Barcelona in 1994.
  • The most common result is 1-0, which has happened 290 times.
  • The most goals in one season came in the 2000/2001 campaign where fans went wild 449 times.
