External shot of the school

This is a tale of invisible faeries.

It takes place in an old boarding school, in a remote location – far away from the nearest village.

In this place, you will encounter six school children and their elderly headmaster, and a curious story will unfold.

The faeries inhabit a world where time stands still, and are able to give and take the time a living being has left to live.

With this power, can you build bonds with the school’s students, gather the scattered clues around you, and piece together the mystery of this tale?

INTERACTING WITH PEOPLE

While in this mode, press the S or A buttons on the right controller to move to the left or right around the character.

ECHOES

Memories take form in the place where time stands still. People’s recent actions remain in the shape of phantoms, while their words linger as gently drifting globes of light. Reach out to these echoes of voices and touch them with the [T] button to hear what was said before.

When not holding an item in either hand, press the F or D buttons on the right controller for clues.

THE RED RING

The red ring is worn on your right hand – it allows you to give and take time.

This drained time will be stored in the red ring. When not holding an item, press the F or D buttons on the right controller to see how much drained time the ring contains.

GRANTING TIME

Passing a flower to a girl

Girl holding the flower

Holding a dead vessel in your right hand lets you revive it, by granting it some of the time stored in the red ring. A wilted flower is just one example of something that can be resurrected.

THE BLUE RING

The blue ring is worn on your left hand – it reveals the wisdom of the chronometer and lets you move to different places in time.

CHECK THE CHRONOMETER

Holding the chronometer

Press the F or D buttons on the left controller, while your hands are empty.
The chronometer will appear – the time shown progresses gradually as you complete a task or solve a puzzle.

MOVE TO A DIFFERENT PLACE IN TIME

The shaking chronometer

As you progress through the story, you will be transported to different chapters in the timeline of the school. The chronometer will shake and glow brightly when this is possible.
Hold it in both hands to be transported to another point in time.
