Worlds Collide

The worlds of Peter Parker and Spider-Man collide in an original action-packed story. In this new Spider-Man universe, iconic characters from Peter and Spider-Man’s lives have been reimagined, placing familiar characters in unique roles.

When teenager Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider, he gained the proportional speed, strength and agility of an arachnid. After learning that with great power there must also come great responsibility, he became the crime-fighting Super Hero called the Amazing Spider-Man!

Spider-Man has now been web-swinging through the streets of New York City for eight years, and over that time has become more experienced and masterful at fighting crime in the Big Apple. But his talents go beyond breathtaking acrobatics and his trademark wall-crawling – Spider-Man uses his intellect to craft amazing gadgets to help get the job done.

This latest adventure calls for Spider-Man to use everything at his disposal, as he’ll face more powerful – and personal – adversaries than ever before!

While Spider-Man is in his prime as a crime-fighting Super Hero, Peter Parker would rather devote his energy to changing the world through science and the amazing technology he’s developing with Otto Octavius.

As a 23-year-old recent college graduate struggling to maintain his job, pay his bills and find time to protect his personal relationships, Peter is trying to figure life out while also protecting the fates of millions of innocent New Yorkers threatened by rising evil.

Smart and independent, MJ is an emerging investigative journalist for the Daily Bugle. Burrowing her way into Wilson Fisk’s network, MJ soon digs deep into the mystery of the newly emerging and dangerous masked gang known as the Inner Demons. She’s also involved in a delicate relationship with Peter Parker as they navigate repairing a damaged romantic connection with a more business-like partnership that may require more mutual trust than ever before.

Miles Morales is a bright, tech-savvy teen – and major Spider-Man fanboy. After Miles suffers a devastating loss, Peter Parker recognizes key similarities between his own life and the teen’s and steps up to mentor him – further empowering Miles to grow. With a little added “encouragement” from Spider-Man, Miles is poised to become a hero just like his idol.

Peter Parker’s beloved Aunt May runs Martin Li’s F.E.A.S.T. shelter in New York City. As a living reminder of Peter’s original failure to use his powers responsibly, May acts as a motherly figure for Peter and helps him navigate his chaotic and complicated life.

Captain Yuri Watanabe has an especially tough job as head of New York Police: She’s got to balance her need for Spider-Man’s unique crime-fighting talents with the city’s unease about its mysterious costumed vigilante.

Suspecting corruption within her own unit, Yuri walks a dangerous tightrope by clandestinely meeting with Spider-Man in an attempt to get the help she needs to save her city.

Meet Martin Li, an amazingly generous philanthropist who’s making New York City a better place through his F.E.A.S.T. shelters for the homeless. He’s a friend to Peter Parker and the boss to his Aunt May.

The problem is, he’s also Mister Negative, ruthless gang leader of the Inner Demons and one of the most dangerous threats to ever sweep through the Big Apple. He can corrupt individuals, and also imbue himself, others and weapons with powerful “negative energy.”

With Martin Li and Mister Negative being the same person, how will Spider-Man defeat one without destroying the other?

Mister Negative is a man divided. To the citizens of New York City he is Martin Li, respected businessman, philanthropist and founder of the acclaimed F.E.A.S.T. shelters. But to the underworld he is known as Mister Negative, an upstart crime boss in command of the fearsome Inner Demons and wielder of a dark energy that he uses to destroy anything or anyone standing in his way.

Obsessed with exacting revenge against a high-ranking New York City official whom he believes is responsible for his corruptive abilities, Mister Negative is a driving force behind a violent master plan that may rot the Big Apple to its core.

Wilson Fisk, who publicly acts as a philanthropist and legitimate businessman, secretly controls New York City’s organized crime families as the feared Kingpin.

Spider-Man has spent years trying to incriminate him and finally does so – only to quickly learn that maybe Fisk was right when he said, “I’m the one who brought order to this city!” Spider-Man soon finds himself in the bizarre position of saving Fisk’s men to unravel a larger mystery of a new citywide menace.

With the ability to harness and wield electricity, Max Dillon has a larger mission in mind: To evolve his final form by transforming himself into pure, living energy. Enlisting the help of a sinister mastermind to help him in his twisted quest, Electro has agreed to help dismantle one of the most powerful men in New York City.

Granted superhuman strength by artificially crafted skin, Aleksei Sytsevich wants to shed his protective coverings and thuggish reputation as the Rhino, and he’s found a sinister someone who can help him do it. Of course, Rhino will need to pay this mastermind back once he’s been sprung from The Raft to wreak havoc on a powerful New York City magnate.

Finally free, after having been behind bars at The Raft for the last few years, the maniacal Mac Gargan is able to renew his heated rivalry with Spider-Man. In exchange for the promise of a clean criminal record, the Scorpion is determined to strike down Spider-Man once and for all with his vicious venomous stinger.

Vulture has vexed Spider-Man with his lethal flight suit since Peter Parker first learned to channel his web-slinging abilities. Now Adrian Toomes suffers from spinal cancer due to the power produced from his winged rig. A particularly sinister villain has devised a plan to save Adrian’s life and free him from The Raft prison… in exchange for helping in a vendetta against a city icon.

What’s the best way to rob a bank? Herman Schultz prefers to literally shock and awe, using a high-tech suit with gauntlets that blast intense vibrational waves to crush vaults and elude the police. Shocker has been a long-time Spider-Man nemesis, but something more sinister has motivated him this time around.

Inner Demons are mysterious enemies easily identified by their elaborate Chinese masks and black-and-white attire. They operate under direction from Martin Li, AKA Mister Negative. Some Inner Demons wield weapons infused with “negative energy” that can cause Spider-Man great damage. On occasion, Mister Negative will corrupt an Inner Demon or two through an extended direct touch, giving himself even greater power.
